Help on REBUILD KIT used in Mercruiser 496 WATER PUMP(with seriously damaged housing.)

BRAVO AND OTHER SERPENTINE  BELT  NEW GEN7 PUMPS

are by the design, probable to suffer serious erosion on the ends,  due to the sand or trash getting trapped between the end of the impeller and  the brass  case.  The particles dig grouves on the ends,  where the impeller rubs.  These groves will allow  water to bypass the blades and reduce the preasure and volume of the output.    Our kit IM496REB will resurface the wear area to recover the high performance to these pumps.

  1)  Drop the round S.S.small surface, with a dab of silicone to hold it and fill groves.2) Install the  lubricated impeller.  3)Glue the o-ring in the hollow slot  with weather strip adhesive. 4) Place the S.S. plate and gasket over the rear hose section with permatex and bolt it on.  

5) Re attach to the bracket.  Extra impeller (special) IM496rREB
