SOME SERVICE PEOPLE THAT DO NOT KNOW ABOUT THE IM654 REPAIR KIT, MIGHT SUGGEST YOU

REDIRECT THE INPUT WATER SOURCE TO A THRU HULL FITTING INSTEAD OF REPAIRING THE SOURCE

HOSE PASSAGE, THERE ARE SEVERAL REASIONS TO NOT DO THIS.

1) THE FITTING REQUIRES DRILLING THE HULL BELOW THE BOAT.  BESIDE THE TERBULANCE BELOW

THE BOAT WHICH LOWERS THE SPEED OFTHE BOAT AND THE WATER SUPPLY CHANGES WHEN

AIR PASSES BY THE PICK UP OR THE HULL LEAVES THE WATER.

2) THE DESIGNED COOLING SYSTEM IN THE OUTDRIVE WHICH COOLS THE OIL AND COMPONENTS

OF THE DRIVE IS GONE CAUSING HIGHER OIL TEMPERATURES.

3)  THE FLUSHETTE WHICH FEEDS THE PUMP WHEN THE BOAT IS TESTED ON LAND DOES NOT WORK.

4)  THE HOSE THAT FEEDS THE PUMP IS A SERIOUS SINKING HAZARD,  IF SPLIT OR BROKEN IT SUPPLIES

AN UNLIMITED SUPPLY OF WATER WITH THE GLUG-GLUG-GLUG SOUND WHILE THE HULL SETTLES TO

THE BOTTOM.
